Reliable Euro Trade Show Statistics Key Figures for 2016
Reliable audited Euro trade show statistics data are fundamentally important for all exhibitors who want to base their decisions on facts and not only on past experience or belly feeling.
The new 2016 edition of the comprehensive UFI European Trade Show Statistics analysis contains the certified key figures of 2,590 trade shows from 25 European countries. Denmark, Ireland, Norway and UK are not covered.
UFI estimates that those audited events represent for the year 2016 almost sixty percent of the total European exhibition market in terms of net space rented, covering over 24.8 million square meters of registered rented net space with 667,146 exhibitors and a total attendance of 67.3 million visitors.
Certified Euro Trade Show Statistics
Those audited certified statistics data should be one of the mandatory fundamentals of all management decisions for any participation. Exhibitors should never just trust and only rely on any statistics data presented by show organizer sales teams without cross-checking with audited figures.
UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry has presented the eighth UFI edition of this report. Their goal is continuously to develop the geographical scope of this project and an important step was taken three years ago with the inclusion of certified data, in addition to audited data. Two years ago, data from Switzerland was included for the first time.
Due to the different levels of development and global diversity, methods may vary slightly from country to country but all the national bodies who have taken part in this study guarantee the quality of the statistics they have provided.
UFI strongly believes that auditing should, wherever possible, be done in a consistent manner to make figures comparable and audited events are identified as such in this report with the name of the auditor.
